Continuing in its position as the market leader in providing mobile services to Sports Events, FoneRent is delighted to have delivered a whole raft of solutions for the 2010 FIBA World Basketball Championships being held in Turkey this August.

FoneRent has supplied media, teams and officials with a range of solutions to ensure they stay connected for less at the tournament. David Gill, one of the Co-Founders of FoneRent gave his thoughts on the event, 'It is very easy to forget thay Turkey lies outside the control of the European Union for now, so roaming rates are not controlled and as such Turkey is one of the highest cost destinations for mobile. We have supplied Turkcell mobile phones, Data Modems and SIM Cards to hundreds of attendees and one client from North America is projecting savings of $18,000.00 over the course of their visit'.
