Having helped over a dozen local authorities and countless polling stations for the UK General Election, FoneRent was counting in its own 'fleet of phones' today after one of the most intriguing contests ever.

Politics aside, the Company got the right result by delivering a range of phones and mobile broadband services across the UK. Dubbed as the first online election, many pollsters, parties and organising bodies also needed high speed Internet to keep in touch.

This was the first election for the FoneRent Team although some of the crew have experienced local elections and James Evans, said, 'this went very smoothly considering its a short event with large numbers and we are delighted with our achievements and how smooth it all went. Moreover, we delivered a huge number of 3G Routers and USB Data Sticks for Internet and I am indebted to BT for all their support in helping us deliver that too'.
