As the World Cup gets ever nearer a FoneRent survey suggests that safety and security top the list of peoples concerns at the event.  Enter FoneRent and International Rescue. Not the Thunderbirds of course but a unique and exclusive service offered by FoneRent which really is F A B.

International Rescue is an application on a Smartphone (rent the phone or add rescue to your own GPS mobile) that detects your location via GPS. Should you need help, simply hit the 'Rescue Button' on the phone menu and a 24/7 Call Centre are ready to pinpoint where you are and more imprtantly can send the local authorities to your aid.

James Evans of FoneRent has been discussing the service with several World Cup clients and commented, 'its been amazing, everyone loves the name and its Thunderbird connection but when they get under the skin of what the service can do, the reaction is brilliant. Nearly all our media clients are taking the option as are teams and individual supporters. We even have the friends & family of teams takling the option and the Free Concierge Service that comes with it is definately a bonus'.

International Rescue is available throughout the EU and South Africa and Rescue Lite has also been launched as a 'telephone only' helpline (no GPS).
