IPL Bowled Over by Savings

Since the Indian Premier League (IPL)  made the decision to stage the IPL 2009 in South Africa for security reasons, it has been a race to get everything ready from pitches to infrastructure.

FoneRent is delighted to have been asked by media, teams, officials and broadcasters alike to supply a range of services at the event including several hundred SIM Cards on the MTN Network. This will allow the IPL to remain in touch at the event for somewhere in the region of a third of the cost, compared to using their Indian Services for Roaming.

FoneRent is also supplying MTN service for other events including the Confederations Cup, the World Cup Draw in December 2009, SoccerEx 2009 and the World Cup 2010 itself.
